Good view and location, nice breakfast
The hotel had a great view of the sea and a good location for easy access to the beach and nearby vendors. The breakfast was also nice with a decent selection of food.
Sadly, the hotel lacked maintenance and cleanliness. The room was not well-kept and had an unpleasant smell.

Great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the hotel's location right in front of a beautiful Thai beach, just opposite the Mermaid statue. The staff is attentive and friendly, despite any language barriers. The basic amenities provided were sufficient and the rooms had lovely views, although some parts were in need of renovation. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus to start the day.
Some areas of the hotel were in poor condition.

Beautiful location directly on the sandy beach. I had a room with sea view and a big balcony. There are many restaurants on the beach offering freshly caught fish and seafood. A Seven eleven and an Amazon are in the immediate vicinity.
Bad wi-fi. Absolutely must be improved.

We stayed at a hotel located right at the beach, with a great view of the ocean. the famous mermaid statue was just a minute away from the hotel. We also enjoyed exploring the colorful night market stalls nearby.
Some of the facilities were not in the best condition and the services could have been better.

The views and breakfasts were spectacular, with ample choices. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Staff was cheerful, humble, and polite. The swimming pool and beach were great.
Everything is what I need and want.

This hotel is in an excellent location, being beside the beach and within close walking distance of small restaurants, many specialising in seafood. Our room had excellent views of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was quiet most of the time.
There were The room didn't contain an electric kettle, so the only way to get a cup of tea was to order it from room service. The tea was overpriced, considering all we needed was a cup of hot water and a teabag. There are people doing noisy aerobics on the beach before 6am, which would be a disadvantage for people who like to sleep later when they're on holiday.

The Samila Beach Hotel is located near many good Sea Food Restaurants.
The Breakfast is after a while a kind of boring.

Great location close to the beach and town, decent pool. Best aspects: Nice lounge and restaurant area.
Old and worn out interiors, stained curtains and floor, no Wi-Fi in the rooms, no kettle, and poor signal in the lobby.

The hotel adjoins perfect sandy beach "Samila" (but that beach is not enclosed area - it's public one). Our room was big, with full-fledged sea view. Breakfasts were passable.
The hotel impressed us unfavourably in tote. System of airconditioning was out of order within 1,5 days of 4. Hot water was absent within 2 days of 4. Workers of the hotel assured us in the beginning, that all snacks and potable water in mini-bar were complimentary (thay said only strong drinks and carbonated beverages were paid); but in time of check out an invoice was submites to us for those snacks and water (more than 500 bahts). During third and fourth days of our stay in the hotel the key-card of our room was out of order and we were forced to go to reception and ask that our room's door should be opened.
